Additionally, it is compatible with Matter and Thread protocols, expanding integration capabilities with various smart home devices. In November 2021, Apple introduced the HomePod mini in new colors: orange, yellow, and blue, adding to the existing white and space gray options. This variety allows users to choose a speaker that matches their interior. The Apple HomePod mini also supports the Intercom feature, allowing voice messages to be sent between different Apple devices in the home. It makes it easy to relay messages from one HomePod to another or to iPhone, iPad, and other devices.
