The JBL Authentics 500 (JBLAUTH500BLKEP) is a desktop audio system featuring a 3.1 configuration with a built-in subwoofer, designed for stationary use and supporting Dolby Atmos Music format. It delivers a total output power of 270 W with a total harmonic distortion of no more than 1%. The design includes three 25mm aluminum tweeters, three 2.75-inch midrange drivers, and a downward-firing 6.5-inch subwoofer. The frequency response ranges from 40 Hz to 20 kHz. The device supports extensive connectivity options, including Bluetooth version 5.3, Wi-Fi standards IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Ethernet, and a USB-C port (in non-US versions, it is used for service purposes only). It also features a 3.5mm analog audio input. The JBL Authentics 500 (JBLAUTH500BLKEP) is equipped with built-in voice assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, which can be used simultaneously. Upon powering on, the system performs automatic sound calibration based on the acoustic characteristics of the room. Control is available through physical knobs on the unit and the JBL One mobile app. The device supports music streaming via Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Apple AirPlay, as well as multi-room synchronization using Google Home or Alexa apps. The JBL Authentics 500 (JBLAUTH500BLKEP) is constructed using recycled materials: 85% plastic, 100% fabric, and 50% aluminum. The dimensions of the device are 447 mm wide, 240 mm high, and 255.7 mm deep, with a weight of 7.8 kg.
