The Denon AVC-X3800H is a modern 9.4-channel AV amplifier designed for building a high-end home theater with support for the latest audio and video formats. It features nine amplifier channels with an output power of up to 180W per channel (at 6 ohms, 1 kHz, THD 1%, 1 channel active), allowing for a 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 acoustic configuration without additional amplifiers. The system can be expanded to an 11.4-channel configuration with external amplification if needed. The Denon AVC-X3800H supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced surround sound formats, delivering rich multidimensional sound in various scenarios. The processor is based on a modern chip with 32-bit processing and uses high-resolution DACs across all channels. It supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz passthrough video signals via HDMI 2.1, including all 6 inputs and 3 outputs. The amplifier is compatible with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, Dynamic HDR, and HDCP 2.3. The Audyssey MultEQ XT32 automatic calibration system is included and can be further enhanced with Dirac Live (optional, via paid upgrade). The device is equipped with a wireless module supporting Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and HEOS multiroom, enabling streaming from Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and other services. The rear panel features terminals for speaker connections, HDMI ports, component and composite video inputs, RCA audio inputs, Pre-out 11.4, subwoofer output (up to four), as well as control ports: Ethernet, IR, RS-232C, 12V triggers, and a USB port on the front panel. The Denon AVC-X3800H supports control via the Denon AVR Remote app, voice assistants, and integration into automation systems. The dimensions of the unit are 434×167×389 mm, and it weighs approximately 12.5 kg. This amplifier is aimed at users who require high-precision sound tuning, powerful configuration, and full compatibility with modern audiovisual technologies.
