The HyperX QuadCast 2 S Black RGB (9A273AA) is a desktop condenser microphone designed for connecting to a computer, ideal for streaming, podcast recording, video calls, and other tasks requiring clear sound. It connects via USB Type-C, and an adapter from USB-C to standard USB-A is included. The microphone features four polar patterns: stereo, cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional, allowing for various sound effects and recording scenarios. Switching between modes is done manually using a multifunction knob, which also controls the microphone gain, headphone volume, and the balance between your voice and other audio sources. It includes a touch-sensitive Tap-to-Mute area for instant sound on/off, enabling quick recording or streaming pauses with a single touch. A 3.5mm mini-jack headphone output allows users to monitor their voice or track the signal during use. To protect recordings from unwanted vibrations, the design includes a shock mount that is attached with threaded joints for compatibility with various stands. The shock mount can be detached easily with spring-loaded pins. The package includes the microphone, a 3-meter USB-C cable, a USB-C/USB-A adapter, and a quick start guide. The microphone features customizable RGB lighting with 100 individually adjustable LEDs, allowing users to choose from over 16 million color options to enhance their streams.
