The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro are in-ear vacuum headphones with a closed acoustic design and wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 5.4. Each earbud weighs 5.6 grams, while the charging case weighs 41.8 grams. The construction is made of plastic with silicone ear tips and features IP54 moisture protection. The built-in drivers with a diameter of 11 mm deliver frequency response from 15 to 50,000 Hz. The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro support active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and are equipped with built-in microphones with ENC. Audio transmission is facilitated through AAC and Qualcomm aptX codecs, supporting Bluetooth Low Energy and profiles HFP, A2DP, AVRCP. The built-in battery allows for up to 8 hours of playback without recharging and up to 40 hours with the charging case. Charging can be done via USB Type-C cable or wirelessly. Fast charging is also available: 10 minutes of charging provides up to 4.5 hours of playback. The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro feature a touch control panel for playback adjustment and call answering.
