The Jackery Explorer 500 V2 is a portable power station with a capacity of 512Wh, designed for long-lasting power supply for gadgets and low-power devices. With a rated output of 500W, it is suitable for routers, laptops, lighting, or small appliances. The unit features AC outputs, USB ports, and a 12V car outlet, allowing multiple devices to be powered simultaneously. It supports charging from wall outlets, solar panels, and cars, as well as a hybrid mode with AC + SolarSaga 100W. According to the manufacturer, a full charge from a wall outlet takes about 1.3 hours, from solar input of 200W about 2.8 hours, and from a 12V car outlet about 6 hours. The LiFePO4 battery is rated for up to 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity, significantly extending the lifespan of the power station. For stable power supply, it uses a BMS with multi-level protections and a pure sine wave output. Charging with 200W solar panels allows for a compact off-grid setup for trips or backup power at home.
