The Nikon Z50 II is a mirrorless camera featuring a 22 MP APS-C CMOS sensor (23.5 x 15.6 mm) with a maximum image size of 5568 x 3712 pixels. It supports interchangeable lenses with a Nikon Z mount, with focal length, aperture, and zoom parameters depending on the lens used.
The ISO range extends from 100 to 51200, and the shutter speed can reach up to 1/4000 sec. Manual focus is available, and continuous shooting can reach up to 11 frames per second. The white balance is automatically adjusted, with 8 presets and a manual mode. Exposure metering is available in matrix, center-weighted, and spot modes. Images can be saved in JPEG and RAW formats.
Video recording is possible in 3840 x 2160 resolution (30 fps) in MPEG-4 and H.264 formats. The device is equipped with a tilting touchscreen and an electronic viewfinder, supporting Live View.
The autofocus system is both phase-detection and contrast-detection. There are ports for an external flash and microphone, and a built-in microphone is included. Connectivity interfaces include Type-C, HDMI, and a microphone input. Data transfer is possible via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Power is supplied by a lithium-ion battery EN-EL25. The body weighs 450 g and measures 127 x 94 x 60 mm. Control is possible via a smartphone. The package includes only the camera body.
