The XCD 2,5/90V lens, with a 71mm full-frame equivalent focal length, is perfect for close-up portraits and still lifes. Its large maximum aperture of f/2.5 delivers stunning soft bokeh, making the main subject stand out and appear more dimensional. Thanks to the narrow aperture and leaf shutter, this lens creates Hasselblad’s signature eight-point star effect on bright light sources.
The compact optical design, small and lightweight focusing module, and optimized leaf shutter make this lens highly convenient: it weighs only 551g, 11% lighter than the XCD 3,2/90 model.

The upgraded focusing module uses a linear stepping motor and a light, compact focusing lens group, eliminating backlash and providing fast, precise focusing. PDAF technology in Hasselblad X2D 100C cameras allows the focus group to quickly reach the desired position.
Powerful and Professional Leaf Shutter
The lens features a new, optimized leaf shutter with a large aperture that operates quietly and quickly. Maximum shutter speed is 1/4000s, the fastest among medium format lenses. Full flash synchronization is available at all speeds.
