The autofocus system uses a stepping motor to deliver quiet and precise focusing, and the close focus distance of just 0.15 m (at 20–26 mm) offers up to 0.43× magnification. With a 67 mm filter thread and a light, compact build of only 350 g and 87.2 mm in length, it’s easy to carry and work with. Its weather-resistant body is splash- and dust-proof, rated down to –10 °C, and features fluorine coating on the front element to repel dirt and oil. Compatible with the L‑Mount, this lens becomes a reliable, high-performance tool for full-frame Lumix S cameras, ideal for both still photography and video.
