It supports dual-channel DDR5 memory with a maximum capacity of up to 96 GB and speeds of up to 8400+ MT/s (when overclocked). The board features two M.2 slots that support PCIe 5.0 x4 interface for high-speed storage drives. For graphics card connectivity, there is one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with Q-Release Slim functionality, making it easier to install and remove the card. Networking capabilities of the ASUS ROG STRIX B850-I GAMING WIFI include a built-in Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) module supporting frequency bands of 2.4/5/6 GHz with a throughput of up to 2.9 Gbps, as well as a wired Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet interface. For peripheral device connections, the board offers a 20 Gbps USB Type-C port, a front USB 10 Gbps Type-C connector, and five additional USB 10 Gbps ports. The audio subsystem is based on the ROG SupremeFX ALC4080 codec with a Savitech SV3H712 amplifier and supports Dolby Atmos. For effective cooling, it features massive heatsinks with an integrated I/O cover and high-conductivity thermal pads. The intelligent management features of the ASUS ROG STRIX B850-I GAMING WIFI include ASUS AI Advisor, AI Overclocking, and AI Networking II, simplifying system setup and enhancing performance.
