Lightweight foaming PLA filament for reduced‑weight, impact‑resistant models
PLA Aero White and PLA Aero Gray are Bambu Lab PLA Aero filaments that create microporous internal structures during printing to significantly reduce the density of printed parts (approximately 50–80 % of standard PLA). Designed for lightweight applications such as aerodynamic models, UAVs, gliders and other parts where weight savings are critical.
The material offers a matte finish that is easy to paint and good impact resistance compared with some other foaming PLAs.
