The BOOX Note Air 5 C is a 10.3-inch e-reader tablet featuring a color E Ink Kaleido 3 display with a base resolution of 1872×1404 for monochrome (~227 ppi) and an equivalent of 150 ppi for color. Its front light offers adjustable color temperature and fine brightness gradation for comfortable reading in any lighting condition. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor, it comes with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, supporting USB-C OTG for flash drives and accessories. Running on Android, the BOOX Note Air 5 C allows installation of reading and note-taking apps, and supports Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz and Bluetooth 5.x for connecting headphones, keyboards, and styluses. The touchscreen is combined with a Wacom digitizer with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, and includes a compatible stylus. Handwriting features include text recognition, layers, and export to PDF/PNG. It also has stereo speakers and a microphone for audiobooks and dictation, with an accelerometer for auto-rotation. The battery capacity of approximately 3700 mAh ensures long-lasting performance due to the energy efficiency of E Ink, with charging via USB-C. The aluminum body is about 5.8 mm thick with an asymmetrical bezel, making it easy to hold with one hand, and weighs around 420-450 g. Magnetic cover attachment is supported. Formats supported include EPUB, PDF (including reflow and annotations), MOBI, DJVU, TXT, DOCX, CBZ/CBR, and others through apps; tools for cropping margins, contrast/gamma adjustments, dictionaries, and translation are available. The BOOX Note Air 5 C is designed for educational and work scenarios: reading technical documentation and comics with color diagrams, handwritten notes, PDF reviews, and cloud note synchronization; it comes with pre-installed tools for quick library organization and backup.
